Dr Bharti Gandhi felicitates CMS alumnus of 64 years ago

Lucknow, June 24 : An alumnus of City Montessori School, Shri Jitendra Pratap Singh, who had been a student of CMS 64 years ago, was honoured by the CMS Founder-Director and renowned educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi. Mr Jitendra Pratap Singh is the President of Sanskrit Bharti Nyas, Avadh Prant and Member, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad. The honouring was held at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium at a special ceremony. Shri Jitendra Pratap attended the 'Vision 2025 Conference' of CMS as a Special Guest and put forth his views in order to bring about constructive and creative changes in the system of education being followed today. Sharing his experiences, Shri Singh said that in childhood, this school had played a significant role in shaping his personality and moulding his thoughts and today he is devoted to bringing about creative and qualitative changes in the field of education to make it more student friendly and useful for the younger generation. The school is focused on improving the life of students through quality education and also in building a bright future for them. Dr Bharti Gandhi once again signed on the certificates won by Mr Jitendra Pratap 64 years ago and highlighted his achievements. It may be mentioned that Mr Jitendra Pratap Singh studied at CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus and CMS Mahanagar Campus, 64 years ago from 1960 to 1965.

      CMS Public Relations Officer, Mr Rishi Khanna informed that since its inception
65 years ago, CMS has been shaping the all-round personality of students and today, CMS students are holding top positions in the world in various professions and serving society with utmost zeal and vigour. Mr Khanna said that CMS was established in 1959 with only five pupils but today it has over 63,000 students studying in 22 Campuses which in itself is a world record.
