Record breaking success of CMS students in Advanced Placement (AP) Exam

10 July : Seven students of City Montessori School have displayed extraordinary
talent with their performance in Advanced Placement Examination conducted by
College Board, USA, bringing honour to Lucknow on the world map. Pranav Suri
has received AP Scholar with Distinction Award, Kolanuvada Jayashree has been
honoured with AP Scholar with Honour Award and five students Kartikeya Chauhan,
Kavya Agarwal, Manas Jindal, Samaira Parveen and Aani Chopra have received the
AP Scholar Award with their outstanding merit and educational ability, thus
keeping the flag of the institution flying high. CMS students have given credit
of their success to their excellent teachers, who guided them during their
preparation for this prestigious examination. This
exam gives a head start on college requirement and help save tution money of
first year during study abroad. AP exam means that the student have taken
college level course work in their school. Special attraction of AP exam is
that it gives advantage in admission and securing scholarship in top
universities in the world.

Kingdon, while
expressing her happiness at the AP scores of CMS scholars, wished them all a
very bright future ahead. She also showed her infinite gratitude to the
teachers for training the students to perform high and win the honours.
CMS Public Relations Officer, Mr
Rishi Khanna informed that CMS has been making consistent efforts to expand its
students' horizons, by providing them information and opportunities to study
abroad. CMS is also a SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Test Center, which
enables students of U.P. and other neighbouring states to apply for higher
studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. This year,
over 90 CMS students have secured admissions many with generous scholarships in
some of the most prestigious universities of the world, including US Ivy League
Universities, Cambridge University, California Institute of Technology
(CalTech), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University,
Cornell University, Melbourne University, National University of Singapore, and
many others.
