CMS students send rakhis to brave Indian soldiers

Lucknow, 10 August : Students of City Montessori School showered their love on the brave soldiers who guard Indian borders by sending them beautiful hand-made rakhis. Under the leadership of CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kindon, Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Jayashree Krishnan and Principal of CMS Chowk Campus, Mrs Aditi Sharma, 11 CMS students representing all the girl students of 21 CMS Campuses presented 15,000 rakhis to Major General Salil Seth, General Officer Commanding in Chief (GOC in C) Madhya Uttar Pradesh Sub Area (MUPSA) and requested him to send these rakhis to the Indian soldiers. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, Principal Mrs Jayashree Krishnan, Principal Mrs Aditi Sharma as well as CMS students tied rakhis on the wrists of army men present on the occasion. Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said on this occastion that these rakhis sent by CMS girls on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan are a symbol of love and respect for our soldiers that these students have for our brave soldiers. I am very happy that CMS girls and boys are committed for their duties and social responsibilities. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Rishi Khanna.

            Mr Khanna said that these girl students, in an informal talk, said that they are proud to send these rakhis to the soldiers who serve the nation and that pray for their long lives. These are the men of courage, who guard the frontiers of our motherland in all types of weather. It is due to them only we live peacefully in our country and can work collectively to develop our nation. These 11 students of CMS comprise Agrani Shah, Yashi Garg, Ishreen Kaur, Shiza Tausif Khan, Riddhima agarwal, Saishree, Varya Kohli, Vedika Pandey, Diya Singh, Manika and Astha Shukla.
