More than 130 universities of 17 countries

Montessori School organized a grand 'University Fair' today at the CMS Kanpur
Road auditorium. On this occasion, representatives of more than 130
universities from 17 countries, including Australia, England, the USA, France,
Germany, Canada, Singapore, Switzerland, Japan, Finland, Ireland, Italy, UAE,
Cyprus, Greece, Antigua and India provided students with comprehensive
information regarding higher education. In addition, students learned how to
choose courses according to their interests, prepare themselves, and create
plans to achieve their goals. Thousands of students from classes 10 to 12
received detailed information about admissions, scholarships and available
courses at prestigious national and international higher education
institutions. A key highlight of the University Fair was the detailed
information provided to students on studying abroad, the Scholastic Aptitude
Test (SAT) and the Advanced Placement (AP) Program.
On this occasion, CMS President Prof. Geeta Gandhi
Kingdon interacted with students and guided them toward achieving success.
Prof. Kingdon encouraged the students, stating that in this era of academic
competition, preparing for higher education during school is the best approach
to selecting the right options at the right time. The aim of this event was to
ensure that after class 12, students are not in any dilemma, are aware of their
goals, and remain mentally strong.
The University Fair at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium was filled with
an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm, with several academic discussions
and interactions taking place. Groups of students could be seen at various
university stalls, resolving their queries. Students, parents, and teachers
praised the CMS management for providing comprehensive information about
prestigious national and international institutions under one roof. The fair
featured stalls from various universities, including the University of
Sydney, Australia; Queen's University, Canada; Institute of European Languages
and Consultancy, Germany; Griffith College, Ireland; Kyoto University of
Advanced Sciences, Japan; Swiss Hotel Management School, Switzerland;
University College London, England; Illinois Institute of Technology, USA; NIIT
University, India, among many others.
Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS,
informed that the fair was organized with a special focus on students
transitioning to a new phase of life after class 12. It provided them with an
exceptional opportunity to learn about and understand the various critical
aspects of higher education. He expressed confidence that this event
significantly contributed to expanding the prospects of students’ bright futures.
