CMS student sets two World Records in Gymnastics

Lucknow, March 4 : Aarna Om Singh, a talented Class 6 student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, has brought international recognition to Lucknow by setting two world records in gymnastics. Aarna achieved this remarkable feat at just 11 years, 11 months, and 11 days of age, showcasing her exceptional athletic ability and determination in the field of cartwheeling. This brilliant CMS student made history by successfully completing 45 cartwheels in just
60 seconds and, in another record-breaking performance, completed 135 cartwheels in under
4 minutes, securing her place in the Yogasana Book of World Records. Both of Aarna’s world records have been officially recognized by the Yogasana Book of World Records Council. CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed immense joy over Aarna’s extraordinary achievement and wished her a bright future. She also extended heartfelt gratitude to the Principal and teachers of school for their support. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS,
who added that Aarna was recently honoured at a special felicitation ceremony, where she was presented with a certificate of recognition for her remarkable accomplishment. The event was graced by several distinguished personalities, including Acharyashree Dr. Yash Parashar, Founder & CEO of the Yogasana Book of World Records Council, and senior officials of the Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association.

        Mr. Khanna further stated that CMS students are not only excelling in academics but also bringing laurels to the school at national and international levels in sports and various other fields. CMS is wholeheartedly committed to nurturing its students intellectually while also preparing them for excellence in sports and other social domains.
