Hill Top School, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand Wins Overall Championship Trophy

27: The four-day International Computer Olympiad ‘COFAS-2024’, organized by
City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar (First Campus), concluded with a grand
ceremony at the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium. The 'Award Distribution and Closing
Ceremony' of COFAS-2024 was held amidst colorful educational and cultural
programs. Winning participants from Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and various
states of India were awarded shields, medals, and certificates. The student
team from Hill Top School, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, won the overall championship,
showcasing their brilliance in knowledge and science. Meanwhile, JB Academy,
Ayodhya won the runner-up trophy, proudly displaying their scientific
knowledge.
At the closing ceremony of COFAS-2024, CMS students mesmerized everyone
with a vibrant display of educational and cultural programs in honor of the
participant student teams from across the country and abroad. The outstanding
performances left the foreign guests delighted and cheerful, with the
auditorium echoing with applause. Participants and team leaders from Thailand,
Sri Lanka, Nepal, and various parts of India thoroughly enjoyed the musical
performances. Expressing their feelings on the occasion, participants from
different countries said that the love and warmth they received in Lucknow
would never be forgotten.
At the closing event, Mrs. Jaishree Krishnan, convener of COFAS-2024
and Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar campus 1, expressed her heartfelt
gratitude to the participating students and invited them to join the next
Computer Olympiad. On this occasion, CMS Founder Dr. Bharti Gandhi blessed the
students and inspired them to serve society as global citizens by eliminating
all differences. Dr. Gandhi emphasized that the time has come for student power
to unite and launch a campaign for ‘World Unity and World Peace.’
Mr. Rishi Khanna,
Head of the CMS Communications Department,
informed that on the fourth and final day of COFAS-2024, the final round of the
Computer Quiz competition ‘Jeu-Concours’ was held in the morning
session. After the written round, JB Academy, Ayodhya, U.P. was declared the
winner. The participating students showcased their exceptional computer
knowledge in this highly engaging competition.
Mr. Khanna further mentioned that the four-day International Computer Olympiad
‘COFAS-2024’ saw enthusiastic participation from young scientists from various
countries, who displayed their talents and demonstrated that the future
generation is eager to advance and achieve great things.
